In the last couple of weeks, I've faced an issue 3 times. Now writing isn't a huge subject, so I probably shouldn't have actually been amazed. But I was. You see composing also isn't a topic that stimulates enthusiasm in individuals-- especially specialists. Or perhaps I must say excessive feelings rather than passion. You see authors tend to put their feelings onto the paper, not into their genuine lives. Possibly that's one factor authors are such a laid back bunch-- we expend the loud emotions on paper and keep the quiet ones for real life.
Of course, there are always those people who believe writing is excellent art and refuse to admit the existence of a system of composing. Sadly, those individuals are misguiding themselves. However, you write is your process-- your system. Formal, casual, strenuous or loose-- it's your system. Even if you find out a formal system, once you put it into practice it becomes your process. And that consists of just taking a seat and writing without a target or factor!
After you have read and check out and read, check out books on writing. Read "The Components of Style" by Strunk and White. Find all the books on writing in your local and not so regional libraries. Read them. Obtain Writing Books from friends and associates. Read them. Google and see what other books on composing look great to check out. Ask your library to get you copies. Read.
As you read, you might begin to take a look at words in a new light.
